The Ministry of the • Interior announced that voting on the constitution issue -is 10,455,708 noes and y, 234,098 aye'sr Votes -are still to co me from Prance's overseas possessions, but they cannot affect the •resuit. Fifty-three per cent. of the voters voted against the change and forty-seven per cent. voted for it J Tw'enty per cent. of the electorate j did not vote. The political parties will meet tomorrow and. it is probable that the Prime Minister, M. Gouin, will ask j the President of the Assembly, M. Auriol, to convene the Assembly on Tnursday, when M. Gouin intends to hand in his • resignation. It is jrooable that M. Gouin will be asked to remain in power with his Ministers until the elections.
