NIGHT OF EXPLOSIONS

Reeeived Sunday, S.40 p.m. BERLIN, May 5. Nuremberg was rocked by a series of explosions last night as a vast arnmunition dump blew up 10 miles from the city. Huge lires lit the sky for j miles. The blast blew out the windows of the Nuremberg eourthouse. The ex- [ plosions eontinued for over two hours. The fire died down after midnight. Villagers over a wide area were foreed to shelter from shrapnel, lumps of stone and burning limbs of trees. Sabotage is officiallj^ denied. It is stated that demolition work on a small arms dump got out of eontrol and spread to heavier explosives.
