WAS TRYING TO RETRIEVE SWAN

MASTERTON, May 6. While trying to retrieve a swan above the channel between Lake Wairarapa and Lake Onoke, a jhooter, J. Robert Galvally, aged 40, of Mangatainoka, was drowned last night. He was a married man with ! one child.
