MURPHY WANTED IN AUSTRALIA
_ ■ HASTINGS, May 3. An offer to guaraiitee Bos Murphy £2000H'or three iiglits in Australia, was made by Vie Fatrick's manager and trainer, Eric MeQuillan, in an interview in Hastings to-day. Mr. MeQuillan is anxious to sed Patrick- and Murphy rematched but ' he believes tbey will never meet in the ring again as Murphy 's maiiager is opposed to southpaws. Mr. MeQuillan declares Patrick, who is the light 'and welterweight champion of Australia, is tlie best boxer of * his weight Australia has turned out. "It's all water under the bridge and that is all ' there is to it, " was Patrick 's comment when asked about the decision in which he lost the bout last .week to Murphy on points. Mr, MeQuillan, Whi-le he admitted ao good could c-oiiie fiom complaining now, was obviously not satisfied with the de--cision.
