INDOOR BASKETBALL

MEETING AT OTAKI The first meeting of the newlyformed Otaki . Indoor Basketball Association was held this week. A delegate from each club had been asked to attend and most clubs were represented. Mr. J. Gilmour was elected chairman, Mr. J. Gow official coach and referee and Mr. G. McKinley secretary. It was decided to have practice games on May 8 and 15 in the Railway Hall. There are prospects of ten or twelve teams playing .this season, so a successful season should result. Any new teams starting this year are asked to contact the secretary before May 15.
