ham were among those present. General Freyberg shook hands with many in the erowd before- his departure. He told them he- was LooKing forward to the rest of the long voyage- so he would altrive in New Zealand frosh for some really hard work. Passengers waiting for other trains- joined the large throng. in three cheers as the train puhed out from the platform, General Freyberg waving a farewell from the window. Sir Bernard and Lady Freyberg are travelling in the- New Zealand shap Ruahine.
