NEW SECRETARY APPOINTED
HORO WHENUA. A. AND P. ASSOCIATION The Horowhenu^ A. and P. Association has appoinfed' Mr: j, E. Fullart.on, of Wellington to be the seeretaty of the association. Mr. Fullarton, who is. pjt present in the State Advances Corppration .office, in Wellington, is a qualified aecouptant and secretary. During the w®x he served with the R.N.Z.A.F. as * a navigator,. and has over 1700 filying hours to his, credit, 700 of them being on operations. Mr. Fullarton will take up his diuties in Levin on June 1.* Mr. J. A. Goodwin, who is retfring from the position,. was ippointed secretary in June, .• 1936^ During his ten years of office Mr. Goodwin has worked loyally and unsparingly for the association. One of the first. tasks he undertook after his appointment was a driye for hew members, and the success of it had an important bearing on the association's affairs at that time. Mr; Goodwin's keen ' organising ability and the attention which he devoted to even the smallest detail has played a large part in the association's outstanding shows, culminating this year in a record fixture.
