Fraser, the Prime Miiiister of New Zealand, whei. leaving England to return home, asked hini to give to the Potteries people his kindest regarBs and best wishes and to say he hoped they .would>send a lot of their very fine pottery to New Zealand and would buy New Zealand butter and woo] in return. This significent • statement may be construed as indicating that the Government intends doing soinething to wards removing the import control measures whicll have hindefed trade with the Old Country. -Importers state that a little mqre English pottery is coming for ward b.ut the quantity is infinitesiinal and is mostly bespoke by eager consumers before it is out of the crate.
