ALL SAINTS' CHURCH
ANNUAL MEETING The Vicar (Ganon.H. E. K. Fry),. reviewing the history of the church over tlle last twelve months at the anniial ' meeting of "parishioners of All Saints' Church, held recently, said that the outstanding feature had been the opening of the church -hall at Otaki Beach. The hall had already proved its value for the purposes of holding Divihe Service and Sunday School. Much still remained to be done in the completion of the hall, but the committee was hoping to arrange some social. gatherings there during the winter months. The Vicar said that the appeal for the Diocesan peace thankoffering fund for the Wellington Cathedral Building, and for the advancing churches' needs had so far met with very little response, and he urged support of their funds. The response for the missionary work overseas had been good. Reports and statements were presented on behalf of the Ladies' jGuild, the Beach, Railway and All Saints' . Sunday . Schools, q,nd the Otaki Compiariy ' of the- Girls' Lif e Brigade. The treasurer 's statement- showed a satisf actory state of aff airs financially. '• The i/icgj? expressed " his deep appreciation of the help given by many in various ways . in, . the church's cause throughout the year. The following were elected to hold office; — Vicar's Warden, Mr. H. N. Fearnley; people's warden, Mr. H. Turner; to serve on the. vestry, Messrs. P. Simcox, R. Bills, Mrs. Lea, Misses Holmes, Manz and O'Loughlen; auditor, Mr. Morton.
