SOFTBALL COMPETITION
At a meeting of the Horowhenua Softball Association, held recently, it was decided to play the knockout comp.etition for the shield which had been donated by the Boys' Trainiiig Centre, Levin. The competition will be on a fixed handicap, and will be played on Sunday, May 5, at the Weraroa Domain, the first games commencing at 10 a.m. The result of the draw is as follows: — To play at Levin in the morning: Dodgers (35) v. Achilles A (15); Ajax (11) v. Achilles B (20) . To play at Otaki Domain at 10 a.m. : Aces Men v. Otaki Ladies J30) , Colts (25) v. Rahui Men (11) ; Rahui Ladies (35) , a bye. The winning teams at Otaki will travel to Levin in the afternoon to meet the winners of the Levin games.
