D. G. Sullivaii," at a meeting in Christchurch tonight. • A questioner had asked him why the ship left New Zealand wi-thout a full refrigerated cargo. Mr. Sullivan said shipping decisions were a matte'f for the British Alinistry of War Shipping and not for the Xew Zealand Gdvernment or the shipping conipany.' The questioner: That is evidently not so. A voice: Why was a Rolls-Royce car pitt on bOhrd? (Laughter.) Mr. Sullivan said he itad no personal knowledge of the matter. He did not think the Xew Zealand Government was iiivolved iih any way but had earried out the instiuetioils of the British Ministry of War Shipping in the norma l way.
