The train was also embroidered with crystal beads. Her veil was of tulle with a topknot of gardenias, lent by her cousin, Mrs. D. Murphy, of Pahautanui. She ..carried a sheaf of gladioli. Her two cousins, Miss Una Griffith and Miss Merle Honore, Levin, were bridesmaids, both wearing ice-bl.ue satin frocks with rucked bodices and long skirts. They carried bouquets of pink asters. ' Mr. Aubrey Gurney, brother of the bridegroom, was best man and Mr. Lloyd Iggulden, brother of the bride, was groomsman. Mrs. Devine, Levin, sang, the organist being Miss Hazel Spiers, Te Horo. Small Eileen Hazelwbod, friend of the bride, presented her with a lucky horseshoe. A reCeption was hel'd in th'e Te Horo Hall, which was bedutifully decorated Hy friends. Prior to the wedding, Mr; and Mrs. R. G. Gurney were guests at a gift evening. They also receiVed an electric reading lamp from the Otaki Cricket Club and a presentation from the Te Horo Young People's Club. Their future home will be in Levin. ' *
