INDIAN SETTLEMENT
ATTEMPT TO FiND SOLUTION Received Monday, 12.20 a.m. NEW DELHI, April 27. On their return from Kashmir, ihe British Oabiriet delegation deeided to initiate by informal contacts, a further attcmpt to find a basis for settlement by agreement between the two main parties. The delegation, as a result, today in'vited the presidents of the Gongress nnd Moslem League, to nominate representatives of the working committees of the tWo organisations to meet together with tlie delegation to continue the negotiations. CONGRESS DELEGATES CHOSEN Dr. Azad has announced that the Gongress working committee has authorised him and three other members of the committee, to attend a conference with the Moslem League representatives and British Cabinet Mission, called by the Mission. The Moslem League working commit toe will meet today to consider the invitation. Dr. Azad, whose term of office as president of the India Gongress Party is expiring next month, has announced his inlentiou to retire. He has nominated Bandit Nehru as his successor.
