Car Falls into Stream
Mr. H. Howett, aged 21, oi Pahiatua, was injured when the car he was driving plunged down a 30-foot arop before coming to rest in four feet of water in the stream between Whetekura and Ormondville. He was taken to the Dannevirke Public Hospital suffering from concussion, and had not recovered consciousness last evening. His condiVion v/as then stated to be serious. Mr. Howett was the only occupant of the car. The accident was discovered by a cyclist at -about 6 a.m.
