LETTERS TO THE EDITOR

OTAKI . DOMAIN Sir, — Lnotice that "No Idiot" ahd Mr. Cahill are..still;in grips over the protecting fence on the ddmairi." Now, .why not sugges.t that members of' the Borough Coiihcil go' there on the first day of a' football match and judge for themselves? As an attendant of football, I consider the fence is badly needed. If it is not erected encroachment on the ground will be cohsidef able, and will cause no end of trouble. It may probably be the means of referees refusing to act. While writing I would like to ask the Borough Council what is wrong with the borough water. Sometimes it is very dirty and not fit to wash in, let alone drink. I guess it is the filter bed, and if this is so why does not the council give it attention. Yours etc., "PRO BONO PUBLICO." Otaki, April 23.
