BOWLING NOTES

TOURNAMENT AT OTAKI Sixteen rinks were present on the: Otaki green yesterday to paTtieipate in a tournament and enjoyable games resulted. The winning rink proved to be the one skipped by P.. Simcox; whp had as his supports Buxton, S. Simcox, and Eaton. The' rink won all four games, while no less than five rinks secured three games each. These rinks were skipped by Pike, Green, Grey, Walsh and Winterburn. Those to win" two games were rinks skipped by Merwood, Phillips, Lightowler, Hurrell and Temuera, while those winning one game each were Henzilwood, Bibby and Lowry. Southgate and Taylor failed to win a game. General Young, president of the Otaki Club, congratulated the winners and thanked visitors for their attendance. Morning and afternoon teas were served and enjoyed, the ladies supervising.
