Throughout his career Hulabaloo has had an cxasperating run of minor placings and he seems just good cnough to be beaten. PurchaSed as a yearling in •1940 for 210 guineas, the Baffles geldiug did not commence racing until a three-year-old, when at his only appearanee he failed to gain a place. He did comparatively better the following torm by securing two firsts and four seconds in 15 appearances and earned £415 in stakes. In the 1944-45 season he started on 10 f occasions for oue win, four seconds, and three thirds, which brought in . £507. This torm, seven . seconds and four thirds have earned lrinr ^£900. Lncluded amoug his many placiugs this seasou are seconds in the Foxton,. Pahiatua and Egmont Oups, wliile receutly at Wanganui he took third place in the Wanganui Gup. •
