Bowling The Otaki Railway Bowling Club will take part in the Manawatu tournament 011 Friday, Saturday and Monday, and will be represented by Symoncfs, Jepson, Webster and Lawrie (s) . Foxton Poppy Day Yet another record was established at Foxton on Friday, in the sale of poppies by the R.S.A. Every emblem received from Headquarters was disposed of, the total amount collected being £40 7s, including £13 10s from Oroua Downs, and there is a small return to come in. Easter Sports The Otaki and District Horse Club will hold sports at Hautere on Easter Saturday when' a first-class programme of events will be submitted. The sports will start at 1U.30 a.m. On Easter Monday the main attraction wili be the football match between Otaki and Petone at the Otaki Domain. One shilling will be charged for admission. On the bowling green to-morrow a tournament will be held and several outside clubs are expected to participate.
