SWIMMING CERTIFICATES
LEVIN SCHOOL AWARDS Mr. N i D.- Tilly, president of the Manawatu Swimniing Centre, yesterday presented the certificatee won during the year by pupils of the Levin School. He congratulated those who had -so successfully completed their swimming course for the year, and stated that the effects of the lOarhers' pool ConstruCted at the school were becoming apparent. The following were -the children wno compOted: — Mferit certificates, half-mile: Beth Wiils, Peter Trotter, Roy Spooner, Oaiium Maclean, Peter Johhson, Baul Johhson and Dohna Ferguson. ProficienCy certificates, 220 yards: Ashley Zuppicich, Briaii Thompson, Richard Routley, Linsell Richards, Marna Botter, Thomas Moir, Robbie Maclean, Iris Blackburn and Joaii Bagrie. Learners' certificates, 50 yards: Bauline Robinson, RUsseli Palmer., Beryl Meyriell, Margaret Maiiley, Douglas Lang, Lavinia Hayfleid, PatriCia Liiidoil, Jean Jacob, Robin Gfaham, Miriam Benjamin, Jose Adrian, Graeme Haggerty and Mary Todd.
