NOTIGE OF SPECIAL ORDER ^OTICE is her eby given that at a meeting of the Horowhenua Electric Power Board held on March 26, 1946, the following resolution, of which due notice had been given, was passed, viz.: "In pursuance and exercise of the Powers vested in it by Section 15 of the Finance Act (No. 2), 1936, the Horowhenua Electric Power Board hereby resolves by way of special Order as follows: "For the purpose of providing ad- i ditlonal moneys for the purpose of j further retieulating the Board's District, The Horowhenua Electric Power Board hereby authorises the raising of a loan of 'Sixty Thousand Pounds (£60,000) at 3i per cent per annum for a period of 20 vears. The said Loan or any part thereof, together with interest thereon shall be repaid by equal, aggregate annual or half yearly instaiments over the term of the loan." And notice is hereby given that the above resolution will be sub-
mitted for confirmation at an i Ordinary Meeting of the Horowhe- 1 nua Electric Power Board to be held I on April 30, 1946, at the- Board's j •Office, Bat-h Street, Levin, at. 10.30 a.m. A.nd further notice is hereby given in accordance with tthe (requirements of Section 15 of the Finance Act (No. 2), 1936, that no moneys shall be borrowed in accordance with. the 'resolution set but above if before the 29th day of April, 1946, not less than 5 per centum of the total ratepayers whose names are inseribed on the ratepayers rolls of •the several constituent districts within the Horowhenua Electric Power Board district by writing under their hands delivered or sent by post to the Office of the Horowhenua Electric Power Board at Levin demand that a poll shall be taken on the proposal.
