Received Wednesday, 10.50 a.m. LONDON, April 16. The British Prime Minister, Mr. C. R. Attlee, stated in the House of Commons that between October, 1941, and Marc'h, 1946, Britain had sent RUssia 5218 tanks, 7411 aircraft, the latter ineluding 3129 from America. The total value o.f the military supplies sent to Russia was £308, 000, 000, plus raw materialSi foodstuffs, maehinery, plant, medical supplies and hospital equipment worth £120', 000, 000. Mr. Skeffington L'odge. asked : "Will the Prime- Minister arrange for this information to be- incorporated in the regular B.B.C., broadeast to Russia- to enable ou'r Allies to deveiop a better perspective in whi'eh to judge the relative merits of the contributions of those who contrihuted to, victory." Mr: Attlee replicd: "I would like to consider the suggestron. It seems good."
