PREPARING FOR BASKETBALL
Preparations. for the approaching basketball season were made by the College Old Girls Club at its annual meeting held reeently. Officers elected were as follows: — Patron: Mrs.. W.JD. Thomas; president: Miss' Ethel Hocking; vicepresidents:' Mesdames H. G. Mackay anh B... M.. Armstrong, Misses K. McLean,. A.. Browning, H. Pettit and F. Speedy and Mr. H. Denton; auditor: Mr. G. H. Sorenson; club ■Gaptain: Miss M. Karauti; secre-tary-treasurer: Miss G> France: It was decided that the subscription should be raised to three shillings. • Three- teams will be entered in the competition this year. - Appreciation was recor'ded of the 'service rend'eredi by Mr. Sorenson as auditor, and a vote of thanks was passed to him.
