FIVE PEOPLE INCINERATED
FIRE IN LONDON BUILDING Received Sunday 7 p.m. " LONDON, April 13. Five person^, were ineinefated in a fire in a thi-ee-§toreyed building m southeast Lon'don early today. All the occupants were asleep when a flre brolce out in a house whieh was let as flats and whieh was praetieally destroyed. Fifemen, saved the adjoming houses. The vk'tims'Tvere an eklerly woman, a 28-year-old mother, two girls aged three and live years respectively, and a boy aged 18 montlis. The children were trapped on the top floor of the building when the ffire broke out in the basement. Firemen reseued survivors by smashing top floor windows and taking them down ladders. Several were severely burned and sent to hospital. All the victims were related and a tragic flgure today is Charles Henry Clarke who lost two of his children, ni eee, sister-in-law and . motliei;-in-law.
