The Xloat Board 's pro posals envisage the payment of a sinai, subsidv to farmers tor all fat supplied to all Xirins likely to purchase fat from small suppliers. Farmers would arrange for all fat to be saved and prepared foi sending olf to the flrms concerned. The suiisidy would be paid against the pro ductioii of account s.iles receivcd froui llie firm taking the ' fat by the Agri•ultural Department. The proposals are now in the process of being (inalised and through braiu-hes of-' the Farmers' Union and Federated Fanners, inforination vvill be released ;ts to the procedure to be adopted wlieu the schemc is introcluced.
