OTAKI CLUB MEETS
A meeting of the committee of the Otaki Football Club was held last night, the president (Mr. T. "Vb Cahill) presiding. It was agreed to hold a working bee on the ground when posts, lines, etc., would be attended to. Arrangements were reported to be in train for the seven-a-side tournament. It was stated that several teams were likely -to take part. It was reported that there had been difficulty in procuring green jerseys, but the trouble was likely to be dbviated. Arrangements were made relative to entertaining the Petone team, which will play in Otaki on Easter Monday. It was hoped to procure the Raukawa Hall for the occasion, and duties were allotted to members to carry out. Competitions so far decided were won by Mrs. C. Bevan, Lloyd Noble, and Joe Potama. An invitation was received for the Rahui Club's dance, and the president was appointed to represent the club. It was stated that the Easter Saturday tournament was likely to attract several clubS; The next meeting of the committee will be held on Tuesday at 7.30 p.m.
