RIFLE SHOOTING
SMALL BORE CLUB MEETS After being in recess for three months, the Ohau Small Bore Rifle Club held its opening shoot recently on the Ohau range. A very good attendance of 40 members and a • good number of prospective members were present to participate in this popular recreation, which augurs well for an interesting and successful competition. The first four successive nightly shoots will be conducted on a self handieap maximum score of 140. Any member going above 140 with his score off the rifle and handieap, goes back one for every point over the maximum total. These four shoots will not count for the seasonal trophies. The following are some of tne best scores registered: R. Cole, S. - Atkins and J. G. Horn, Senr., 140, J. Bowling and I. Horn 139, P. Drake 137, C. Drake, L. Walkley, W. Mudge and A. Joblin 136, J. G. Horn, Junr., 135,- F. Catley 134, M. Fletcher 133, E. Pilgrim and R. Catley 132. The highest score off the rifle fell to R. Cole with 135.
