HOROWHENUA ELECTRIC POWER BOARD ELECTRXCAL RETICULATION LOAN No. 2 1945— £60,000. NOTICE OF SPECIAL ORDER NOTICE is hereby given that at a meeting of the Horowhenua Electric Power Board held on March 26, 1946, the following resolution, of which due notice had been given, was passed, viz.: . "In pur.suance and exercise of the Powers vested in it by Section 15 of the Finance Act (No. 2), 1936, the Horowhenua Electric Power Board hereby resolves by way of special Order as ioilows:
"For the purpose of providing additionai moneys for the purpose of further reticulatmg the Board s District, The Horowhenua Electric Power Board hereby authorises the raising Of a loan of Sixty Thousand Pounds (£60,000) at 3 h per cent per annum for a period of 20 vears. The said Loan or any part thereof, together with interest thereon shail be repaid by equal, aggregate annual or half yearly instalments over the term of the loan." And notice is hereby given that the above resolution will be submitted for confirmation at an Ordinary Meeting of the Horowhenua Electric Power Board to be held • on April 30, 1946, at the Board's Office, Bath Street, Levin, at 10.30 a.m. And further notice is hereby given in accordance with the requirements of Section 15 of the Finance Act (No. 2), 1936, that no moneys shall be borrowed in accordance with the resolution set out above if before the 29th day of April, 1946, not less than 5 per centum of the total raiepayers whose names are inscribed on the ratepayers rolls of the several constituent districts within the Horowhenua Electric Power Board district by writing under their hands delivered or sent by post to the Office of the Horowhenua Electric Power Board at Levin demand that a poll shall be taken on the proposal.
