GOOD TRACK WORK
TIMARU CANDIDATES Golden Souvenir and Bruce covcred six furlongs in 1.14. Both seem well and Bruce will be highly respected for the Timaru Cup on Saturday. Times over five furlongs were Irish Note 44-2/5, Thornbridge 50-4/5, A1 Sirat 48-2/5 -and Gunga Din 51-3/5. Burberry did seven furlongs in 1.29, while Honest Sal recorded ! 1.16-4/5 for six furlongs and Bridge ! Acrc 1.15-3/5 for the same distance. ! Palfrey recorded 1.27 for seven furlongs.
