SUBMARINE'S COMMANDER TO BE TRIED
Received Thursday, 9.20 p.m. LONDON, April 4. Lieutenant-Commander R. P. Lonsdale, commander of the submarine Seal when she was captured with all her crew in May, 1940, is among those to be tried bv a Portsmouth courtmartial on Tuesday, says the Daily Mail. Another officer will also face trial. The charges are still secret. Lonsdale is not under arrest. He told the Daily Mail that he was unable to tell anything ahout the case.
