GISBORNE/, April 4. , Over 2000 people on Waikanae beach this aftprnoon -were thrilled by aerial aerobatics by the Meteor, piloted by S4uadron-Leader McKay. The eloud base was down to 3000 f eet, which, however, did not affeet the display. Earjier in the day, the Meteor made a run from Gisborne to Napier and returned to Gisborne in 14 minutes — at 340 miles an hour.
