Motor Cyclists Injured An accident occurred on Saturday at Waikanae Beach during motorcycle racing held by the Ixion Mothr Cycle Club. A motor-cycle travelling at higli speed crashed into the crowd of spectators. Several people had cuts and bruises attended to by members of the St. John Ambulance Brigade. The only person requiring medical attention was Mr. D. Turton, of 68 Hobson Street, Wellington, who suffered severe leg injuries and shock. His condition is not serious. The rider of the motorcycle was R. Heaphy. The casualties were caused by the crowd surging before the ropes in spite of repeated warnings.
