Sunny weather which followed. the disastrous fioods in Northern New South Wales has brought a carnival atxaosphere to the partially-submerged towns. Ih the evenings young people rowed lip and down the main streets hecause the theatres were under water, and in the daytime children forced to stay home from the schools swam in their backyards.
