WELLINGTON, March 31. Arrangements had been made for the repayment to the United Kingdom Government of the full amount due under the memorandum of security agreement, £18,000,000, %- gether with interest accrued to tne date of * repayment, announced the Minister of Finance (Hon. Wal'ter Nash) tonight. "The payment of this sum, ' ' said Mr. Nash, "means that the whole of' the costs of the war ineurred overseas has heen met out of loan revenue and taxation within New Zealand, and all loans still remaining unpaid are due to our own people within New Zealand. "The effect of the payment on the agreement reached in London in 1944 will he ti© slibject of discussion during my visit to the United Kingdom," said Mr. Nash.
