Miss Veale successfully sat for the performer's diploma, Licentiate of the Royal Schools of Musie, in pianoforte playing last October. Probably the youngest musician in New Zealand e.ver to pass this exainiuatiou, slie so iiupressed the examiuer, j Dr. 0. S.
