ACROSS THE ATLANTIC IN THREE HOURS
LORD BRABAZON'S PREDICTION Received Sunday, 8.45 p.m. LONDON, March 31. Lord Brabazon, former Minister of Aircraft Production, interviewed, predicted that jet-propelled passenger planes within two years would be crossing the Atlantie in three hours. However, it would be quite some time before helicopters were used as air taxis, because of their uncertain airworthiness during the ascent when 100 to 150 feet from the ground.
