DISTINGUISHED APPOINTMENT FOR NEW ZEALANDER
air marshal sir roderick carr Received MoAday, 10.40 a.m. LONDON, March 31. It is officially announced that Air Marshal Sir Roderick Carr has been appointed Air Officer Com-mander-in-Chief in India. He is also undertaking the funcfions of air officer commandihg base air force in South-east Asia. Sir Roderick Carr w.as born in New Zealand in 1891, and was educated at Feilding Pubiic School and Wellington College.
