THE POWER OF GRACE

— W. C. E.

Newbolt.

To the true Christian, grace will always be that power which helps to grow in strength of character and goodness until we become ourselves. It helps us by assimilating all that is good and useful, and in throwing off that is bad and harmful. To be living in grace is not only to be making our calling and election sure, it is not only to have a hope full of immortality, but it is to live in full and vital connection with all that is God-like in life.
