♦ LONDON, March 27.' The continued unity of the Englishspeaking peoples was all-important for the future of" world peace and prosperity, declared the new chairman cf the English-speaking Union, Lord Wakehurst, in a speecli at a union reception. Endorsing Mr. Churchill 's recent appeals for the fraternal association cf the British and American peoples, Lord Wakehurst stressed that the association was not directed against other nations. He appealed to the members of the union to make every effort to cement the honds between Britain and America which were estahlished during the war.
