40,000 SERVICES DIVORCES
APPALLING POSITION IN BRITAIN » LONDON, March 26. At the pres-ent rate of progress it will take 15 years to clear up 40,000 Servicemen's divorce cases which are at present in arrears, says the Press Association. The members of the i Cabinet, who have just received a report on the position, are shocked j at the prospect of misery unless something is done to straighten out uu tnese tangied lives.- | The shortaje of typists is the greatest obstacle to disposmg of the I acctimulation. There is no ' bottleneck afc the Uourts, wnere Service cases are given preference, but the flood of applications has overwhelmed the orgamsation of the Law Socibty.
