The Presbyterian Hospital Eye JLnstitute reported that a 14-month-old baby blind since birth, to whose eyes were transplanted the bealtby corneas of a 59-year-old woman wbo wilied her eyes in the hope that they. might aid another, is now able to see with one eye. .The operation is considered^ successful in that the baby caa see, although it must return for examination in several months before a final judgment is made.
