A Royal Commission to inquire and report upon trans-harbour facilitie.in the Auckland inetropolitan area and its approaches has been appointed and. the names of the members of the Commission and the ordjer of reference ap pear in a supplementary Gazetfe pub lished toniglit. The Commission eon sists of Sir Franeis Frazer, of Wellington (chairman), Mr. W. R. Beaver,. a. New South Wales engineer, and Mr. R H. Packwood, distriet engineer, PubJic Works Departrnent, Auckland.
