Tlie city recorded £1334 9s ld, and this revealed that with one more week to go before the end of the financial year, the city has exceeded the hundred thousand — the actual fig ures being £100,(594 2s 7d! The country ottices have also been doing well, and the total for the district on Saturday iast was £218,014 3s 21. It was left to Foxton (£11)85 18s 8d) and Woodville (£1067 2s ld) to provide the highlights this tirne, although Dannevirke (£442), Bulls (£377), Ashhurst (£205) and Feilding (£155) pruvided useful totals Bulls, Weraroa ubd Woodville joined the annual quota rankers. The 20 towns to get their weekly quota were: Palmerston North, Apiti, Ashhurst, Bulls, Dannevirke, Feilding, Foxton, Halcombe, Kimbolton, Levin, Manakau, Pahiatua, Pongaroa, Rangiotu, Rangi wahia, Rongotea, Manson, Weber, Wera roa and Woodville. Mpecial mention miglit be made of Terrace Fnd's con tribution last week — £45 14s. .
