Staples 9 — 3, J. Tomlinson beat R. Jepson 9 — 4. Ladies' singles: Miss A. Hesp lost to Miss M. Bevan 7 — 9, Miss S. Cameron lost to Mrs. Keeling 4 — 9, Miss J. Walker beat Miss J. Scott 9 — z, Miss P. Bell lost to Miss M. Black 7—9. Men's doubles : Hill and Holdstock beat Keeling and M. Staples 9 — 2, Wardell and Tomlinson beao L. Staples and Jepson 9—2.
