Received. Tuesday, 9.55 a.m. LONDON, March 25. Although no information has reached London that the Russian forces are wifchdrawing from Persia, Prince Firouz has confirmed that the Russian Army last night began their evacuation. Prince Firouz said: "Twenty-five tanks, 100 army lorries and 700 men have already left Karaj Pookazvin and the move- ! ment is continumg.'*' He added that the Russians will leave j Persia wiihin the next iive weeks. The Exchange-Telegraph's diplomatic correspondent says that tize British Clarge d'Affaires at Teheran has been instructed to make inquiries ahout the Russians' withdrawal. The Under-Secretary for Foreign Affairs, Mr. Hector McNeil, stated in ihe iiouse of Commons that Mr. Bevin, in response to a request, had agreed to arrange for a small party of Commoners to visit Persia.
