PRAYER
Blessed be Thy Name, O God, who daiiy loadest us with beneflts. We will remember Thy loving kindness, and worship giving thanks unto Thee. We owe Thee life itself, and ail its riches of love and truth and beauty. Every day increases our obligation to Thy long-suffering and tender mercy. Many times we have transgressed and grievously sinned against Thee, and Thou hast heard our bitter cry and forgiven us. Thy grace has never failed us and Thy direction of our ways has been ever sure. Deepen our sense of Thy goodness and of our indebtedness, chat we may render our whole life a thankoffering to Thee. And we remember also before Thee, Father of all, our debts to our fellow men and women; to those who have gone before us who bought to us the knowledge and the liberties which we enjoy; to those who for our sakes go in jeopardy of their lives, and to those who have laid them down that we might live; to those who sustain us by good government, courageous example, loyal fellowship and self-forgetful service. Heip us to be wortny of these and to show forth in our lives the true recognition of those things we can never repay; and unto Thee, the Source and Sustenance of all virtue, be praise and honour paid throughout all ages. Amen.
