Thousands j oi people linecl the quayside and, as the ! cruiser Superh swung away from her ! berth, sang "Will Ye No Canie Back Again?" and ' Auld Lang Syne. "" , The Princess, s'tanding on the gun j platform below the bridge, smilingly ■ wavt . an acknowledgment. She was ! seen oif by the Governor of Northern ! Ireland, Earl Granville, and her aunt, I Countess Granville, the Prime Minister, j and other memhers of Cabinet. The destroyers Pame and Hbtspur are I escorting H.M.S. Superb to Greenock, j "Princess Elizabeth ckarmed us all," j said the Governor of Northern Ireland ! in a message to King George. "Every-! where she went she gave great pleasure j to a very large nuniber' of people. We i trust she will visit us again." His Majesty, in replying, expressed pleasure that the visit "Went oif so well. " "I know that my daughter was touched and delighted at the kindness j that was accorded her," he said.
