INTER-SCHOOL CRICKET
The Horowhenua' College, first eleven on Thursday suffered ciefeat by a margln of 50 runs at the hands of the Palmerston North Boys' High School second eleven. With first use of the wicket, Palmerston North plaeed 114 runs on the board, lafgely the result of a ! fine kxiock for 59 by A. Yates. B, j Tujmer (19) and N. Goddard were i the only other batsmen to return I dopble figures. P. .McClune . and O. Dumbell each secured four wickets at a cost of 17 runs. Horowhenua's innings yielded only 64, C. Walker heading the batting' with 21 and S. Sciascia contributing 11, R. Peter- ' sen was the outstariding bowler for the visitors, accounting for eight. .of the wickets at the low "cost of 22 runs.
