SCHOOL GIRL KILLED
PATAL MISHAP AT TIAKITAHUNA Injuries which resulted in death, in the Palmerston North lluspital, were reeeived by a chiid sh irtly after shc had alighted from a motor-bus at Tiakitahuna 011 Wednesday and cume into collisiou with a motor-truck. The cliild was: LORNA LANGK1LUE, aged seven years, second daughter of Mr. and Mrs. iv. Langkilde, of Tiaxitahnna. The girl was one oi tw/ns, the other being a boy. Hhe was travelling honie from the Longburn Echooi 011 " tlie iuotor-bus and was set down at hei home, which is 011 tlie left-hand side ot the road. It is unuerstood that she erossed behind the bus to go to a letter box 011 tlie opposite side. Just then a niotor-lorry, driven by -Mr. N. T. Ecott. a pig-farnier, of Eeigu-011 iStreet, PaJ merstou North, was passing in .the opposite direction aiul tiie accideni occurred.
