The year 1949 is the goal set for complete elimination of Germany's war industries and for full return to world trade with the goods she will he allowed to produce. Germany by 1949 will, it'is believed. be aliowed to lmport 'a maximum oi 450,000,000 dollars worth of food yearly to supplement her own crops. providing the Germans with a daily diet of appoximately 2100 calories. However, if there is still a world food scarcity, no euemy nation will be given a purchasing preference.
