AYRSHIRE FIELD DAY

club's successful outing The Wellington West Coast Ayrshire Club hold a very successful field day recently . at the f arm of Mr. M. Moffat, Oroua Downs. Mr. C. E. C. Webb demonstrated and gave an interestiug talk on the history of the breed in Scotland, Capada and New Zealand. There was an excellent attendauce of over 100, visitors being present from Hunterville, Bunnythorpe and surrounding districts. Also present was a party of students from Palmerston North High School, but unfortunately the Horowhenua College students were unable to attend. It was pleasing to note the interest taken by the boys, and a judging; competition is hoing arrqnged for them at an eariy date. Hearty votes of thanks were passeh to Mr, Moffat for his hospitality and to Mr. Webb for his very interesting and instructiye talk.
